Our well-equipped shop is located in the Ballard section of Seattle, WA, stocked with an extensive inventory of equipment and parts for refrigeration and HVAC.  Our technicians and fabricators are experienced, safe, well-trained and motivated, and everyone here takes pride in delivering the best customer service possible.

Decades of Experience

Bowman Refrigeration was started by Dave Bowman in 1984 to perform service work and startups as a contractor to Sabroe Denmark, a company he had developed a relationship with while installing and servicing their systems on Alaska fishing vessels.  In 1987 the company hired its first employees and began doing installations.

The company has remained heavily involved in the Alaska fishing industry, also branching out into other sectors of the maritime industry and land based operations as well.

We Know Details Matter

Seemingly insignificant details if paid attention to can bring significant benefits in the outcome of a project.  Overlooked, they can result in unfortunate consequences.  So we take maintenance, operating and service into account during the planning stages to avoid rework and help keep the cost of future maintenance and repairs in line.  In construction environments we coordinate carefully with other trades to avoid interferences.

Our goal is to build and service your system the way we would if we owned it.  Our intent is that once you do business with us you won't want to go elsewhere, and we know we need to earn your trust to cultivate a long term relationship.  We don’t make many mistakes, but when we do (everyone does) we stand behind our work – period.
